Start Strong is the new funding model.
“The NSW Government is committed to ensuring that all children in New South Wales can participate in 600 hours of quality preschool education in the year before school, no matter where they live or what their circumstances are”. COVID FREE PRESCHOOL
The state government has extended free Preschool for 2021. The conditions for free Preschool are as follows:
  • 3 & 4 year olds are entitled to 2 free days per week
  • To receive free Preschool children should be enrolled for 2 days per week
  • Fees for extra days will apply
  • Fees for 1 day only will apply
  • The $66 enrollment fee is a voluntary contribution to cover the administration costs of enrollment
  • Standard  Preschool hours remain 9am to 3pm with extended hours being available when necessary (eg working parents, appointments)

ENROLLMENT FEE
 A voluntary (non-refundable) enrollment fee of $66.00 is payable on acceptance of enrollment and must be paid prior to commencement of Preschool. This is separate to the daily fee.
 

Two weeks written notice is required when withdrawing a child from Preschool. Full payment of any fees owing is expected before notice of withdrawal will be accepted.
Any Fees owing  must be paid regularly and two weeks in advance.
The first installment must be paid prior to the beginning of each term (or prior to starting during the term).
Failure to pay installments regularly and in advance will result in late fees being added to your fees and forfeiting your child's position.
Direct debit is preferred for payments made in installments

CHILD CARE BENEFIT
 
The child care benefit for Preschool ceases to exist from July 1 2018
